What do you do if it rains?
The Singer Island Surf Camp is the only area surf camp that has an indoor base camp facility just steps from the beach with plenty of activities to keep us busy if it rains. The base camp features separate boys and girls home rooms and restrooms, a game room with billiards, and foosball, video games, board games, karaoke, movies, arts and crafts.

What do you do if there are no waves?
The unique reef and sand bar systems found along the shore of Singer Island bring us more opportunity for waves compared to other local beaches.  Even on a day that is completely flat in Juno Beach or Palm Beach our "secret spot" on Singer Island is usually breaking!

On other days we explore Singer Island's snorkeling reefs, we kayak and paddle board to explore Peanut Island, we ride bikes to Mac Arthur Park and explore the mudflats, the beach preserve, and nature center, we go crabbing and fishing at the Pumphouse, or we may go feed the fish and check out the charter boats daily catch at Sailfish Marina.

What about sunblock application?
We are diligent about applying sunscreen throughout the day and prefer that you do not apply sunscreen before coming to camp. We also prefer Zinka brand flesh colored nose coat for the face. This product can be found at your local surf shop or purchased at the base camp for $5. For the body we recommend any brand zinc oxide cream of at least 40%. This product can also be purchased at the Base Camp for $5 or found at your local Walmart or Walgreens. We also provide a daily use rash guard free of charge. You are welcome to bring your own personal rash guard or purchase one at the Base Camp kids $12 adults $15.
